| Directions: Take exit 170 off I-75 to Kings Highway (Hwy 769). Head
northeast 5.5 miles. After passing Encore RV Park on your right,
entrance to airfield will be first gravel road on the left. Bear left
on gravel road, airfield approximately one mile back.
We are located on State of Florida Water Management District property, http://www.swfwmd.state.fl.us/recreation/areas/rvgriffin.html,Arcadia, Florida. The entrance to property is across Kings
Hwy from the Peace River Water Plant. The field is located in a pasture, west of pipeline road in RV Griffin Reserve. GPS reading for the field is:N27deg 4’ 29.96” W82deg 1’ 37.72” The airfield is 360 feet deep and 1470 feet wide (tree line to tree line). Total air space to meet flying needs is only limited by the power line to the south, and your ability to see and control the plane in all other directions.
